When it comes to provision of technical services, Richard Ngua is the go-to guy. Having been with Compulynx for over 15 years, Richard rose up the corporate ladder from a Hardware Engineer to being CompuLynx’s Head of Technical Services owing to his continuous quest for learning, his ability to figure out any equipment without any prior knowledge. Mr Ngua’s brief includes the implementation and maintenance of Entrust DataCard central issuance, Desktop Card Personalization systems, and EMV software and related systems.
He also designs structured networks/cabling, installs and implements Access Control and Time management Systems, also plans and implements Sensormatic Anti-Theft and loss prevention systems (EAS).
His career at CompuLynx kicked off as a Technical Support Engineer, then senior Technical Executive before he rose to his current position. Previous to that he had worked at Centurion Systems as a Technical Support Engineer. Educated at the Kenya Christian Industrial Training Institute, Ngua has cleanly and perfectly integrated into the CompuLynx landscape to become part of a firm that is steadily acquiring a global reputation for cutting-edge technological innovations and solutions.
Ngua’s skills are vast and might be categorised as both technical, business and leadership. Having successfully led his team of engineers and consultants and continually inspired them to perform better, he not only repairs computer systems, he is also involved in business planning for the organisation.
In the years 2000, 2002 and 2006, he won the Lynx Group Employee of the Year Award. He is married. He relaxes by playing table tennis, rummaging through technology magazines and surfing the web.
